Over the next few days I will be hyper tweeting and over posting and also on a general high. Catalyst is in Dallas. What you will see when you walk into the doors of Bent Tree this week, are some young, cool geeks ready and set to uncover purpose, passion and meaning from some of the world’s most fantastic spiritual leaders. I love every single second and here’s why:
Great Content
We are all in search of amazing content; it’s the reason we scan tweets and posts and surf the web. We want to be intrigued, inspired, educated and called to action. Catalyst brings together the kind of content I spend hours looking for throughout the week and crams it into a few days. Leadership. Compassion. Calling. Purpose. Giving. Jesus. No doubt, Catlalyst is like taking a fire hydrant to the face but in the most enjoyable way ever. During the past year I took the strength finders test and one of mine is Input. This means I am hyper inquisitive and I love gathering information that has meaning and value to me to add to my archives of other meaningful and valuable information. I can never ever ever get enough. And Catalyst is the perfect fix to my unquenchable craving for great content.
Worship
I’m lucky to be at a church with worship led by Scott Dyer who is a true musician in every sense. I have had some of my most intimate moments with God sitting in the pews worshipping under Scott’s leadership. And Catalyst takes that and turns up the volume to a place where some of our congregants wouldn’t appreciate but leave the Catalyst attenders begging for more. Literally the house is shaking with worship. And yet there is still great intimacy and connection. My heart is captured in worship during every session.
Motivation
Inspiration abounds at Catalyst Dallas. In years past, hearing live some of my heroes, people like Donald Miller and Katie Davis, has literally changed me. I came in one way and left another way. I walked out with the gift of hope and encouragement and belief. I leave Catalyst every year ready to set the world on fire. I come in one way and I leave another way.

It moves. Last year i recommitted to the business and look what’s happened!!!!
