We’ve heard it a lot of different ways. Donald Miller said it in Blue Like Jazz. Jen Hatmaker says it in this podcast. When people can tell you don’t like them, they don’t care what you think. In fact, they are more likely to disregard what you think, even if you are right. Being right is not the point. Loving one another is the point. Go out as sheep among wolves, not the other way around. Bear with one another in love. Forgive one another. Make allowances for one another’s faults. Longsuffering.
